Soul place hike Lausebuche

The hike starts down in the valley, at the Schützenplatz in Oberelspe. From there it goes to the federal highway. At the federal road, turn right at the bus shelter and turn into the second street (Kreuzbergstraße). Follow the road until you reach the Vogelstange. There you keep to the left. The path leads at the beginning between shady bushes along the Oene brook until you reach the old ascending cross path. This leads uphill along the well-known twelve stations to the natural highlight of the hike, the Lausebuche. Lausebuche is in this case only a place name, because actually the Lausebuche is a lime tree. Let the views to the horizon and to the two neighboring valleys take effect on you. Enjoy the silence at this special place, listen "inwardly". With renewed strength, you will then head back in the direction of Oberelspe. To do so, follow the trail marking "A12" from the crossroads at the Lausebuche. This path leads you back to the village.
