Fantastic views and sights line the Golddorf route, which begins at the Friedenseiche oak tree in the federal gold village of Oberhenneborn and is marked throughout with a golden G on a red background. On the route parallel to the Ruttenberg, hikers cross the Sachmecke river and soon reach a rock - the "Henneborn Loreley". The tour leads between two giant spruce trees down the valley to the SGV hut in Oberhenneborn - and then steeply uphill. Every step is worth it, because at the top you have a fantastic view over the Henne valley! Passing a wayside shrine, hikers then make their way around the Heyer Knochen to the Kreuz Chapel and finally return to Oberhenneborn on the bee nature trail.

Always follow the hiking sign of the Golddorf Route, the golden G on a red background.
Equipment
Sturdy shoes are recommended. As well as sufficient food and drink.
Safty guidelines
A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and hiking signposts. All signposts along this trail are designated as rescue points with official location numbers.

Oberhenneborn is served by bus route 465. To get on the Golddorf route, use the "Todesbruch" stop. From Schmallenberg you can reach Oberhenneborn, with a change in Bad Fredeburg, with the S90 / 369 / 466 and 465.

In addition to the hiking parking lot on the "Todesbruch", there are other parking spaces in the village.
