Directions
From the hiking portal, we walk along the village road in a northerly direction to the end of the village. After approx. 600 m, we keep left before the bend at the end of the village and follow the "Liesetal" road. We follow the signs "Durchs Liesetal" until we reach the white cross "Zur Erinnerung an die alte Kapelle". Trail L3 takes us past the cross on the left and we continue uphill along the old trunk road to the refuge on the Sellerberg. Shortly before we reach the refuge, we see the "Uff der Wache" cross on the left-hand side of the path.Now we hike uphill on the L3 to the highest point of the hike, the "Kleiner Niggenberg". We continue along the L3 and turn right downhill back towards Liesetal.On this path, we pass geo-experience station 9 (Liesetal quarry), where we can take a break. At Haus Guntermann at the end of the signposted hike is the "Sengen Heiligenhäuschen". The little chapel was built by the Guntermann family (Sengen) in honor of the mother of the "Good Council". The path then continues past Landhaus Liesetal back to the main road. From here, we walk alongside the main road back to the hiking portal.

Public transit
From Winterberg, you can reach Liesen by taking the S50 bus in the direction of Hallenberg and changing to the R44 in the direction of Medebach.

How to get there
You can reach Örtschen Liesen from Winterberg via the B236 and the L617.
Parking
You can park at the hiking portal in Liesen or at the end of the village close to the hiking trail at the Hilmesberg parking lot. Parking is free of charge.
