The walk initially follows paved paths out of the village and offers beautiful views of the Hilletal valley towards Grönebach. In the forest, we cross the babbling Hille, which feeds some fish ponds with water. After leaving the forest, we reach an open field with a fantastic panoramic view of Küstelberg and the Schlossberg, Reetsberg, Rösberg and Alte Grimme mountains in the background. Also in the background, we can see Medebach Bay on the left and the Winterberg plateau on the right.

Directions
We turn north along the Rothaarsteig towards Hufeisen. We walk past the windmill on the paved path into the forest. After crossing the Hille, we keep to the right and reach some fish ponds. Finally, we reach an open field with a view of Küstelberg. After reaching the Hillekopfweg trail, we stay on it until we reach the village.
