There are certified multi-day hiking trails in all Sauerland-Wanderdorf villages, which can be hiked in stages or as a local hike. Some of these certified trails can also be combined with each other. There are also popular trekking sites for nature lovers on the Uplandsteig and Diemelsteig trails.
